I was out the other night and couldn't help but stare at a few hairlines, im specificly talking about womens. I seen one one particular women in her late 20's and i would have placed her in a NW2 category. It didnt appear as though she had a recceding hairline, but her hair was fairly thin and her forehead seem big in preportion to her features.

It got me thinking can women get receeding hairlines to a unusual degree. I was lead to believe that there "Blading" process was thinning no recession included? I have seen plenty of men with a fair amount of recession and it would be labeled as balding with no crown thinning.

I apologise if this is a foolish question, its just something iv never got a concrete answer to.

the Androgenetic Alopecia theory claims that the girls don't have any recession at temples, but have problem with the crown.

but i saw many girls with receding hairline at Norwood 2. but the girls have buzz hair in receded temples, they just use hair dye and it looks fine. they have a small forehead, so it's not as obvious as it's with a man forehead.

FFS why cant you guys realise that peoples foreheads/ hairlines come in a huge range of different ways, both men and women.

Look at this British pop band:

I guess the one on the left has a serious case of m.p.b I'm sure she'll be a NW6 in a few years. :jackit:

I think there's a lot of folks who mistake a hairline that tapers back from a widow's peak for an actually receded hairline...*cough*kerzyguy*cough*

LOL at the list of fictional characters with widow's peaks in this link.
