Will Rogaine give me adequate coverage of crownal area to simulate stubble?

Hello All, I already cut my hair at 1/8" and would like to know if using Rogaine will give me an appearance of a close shaved hair cut. I just would like to eliminate the "shininess" from my scalp. Since I am a Norwood 6 it would basically need to cover the crown and some parts of the vertex. I have used propecia in the past but it seemed to decrease my libido so I stopped after a few months. Basically I am wondering about 5% Rogaine foam/generic.

I am no expert or anything but minoxidil is supposed to help growing hair. You said you are already a NW6 ..so you have nothing to lose!
