Will Minoxidil Grow My Hair Longer?

My hair right above my forehead doesn’t grow long like the rest of my hair. I started using minoxidil with dht blocker about two months ago and now I see a lot of little hair growing. Will this hair grow long just like normal hair?

After how many years minoxidil looses its effectiveness?
