Will increasing dosage of dutasteride/finasteride cause another round of shedding?

I switch from finasteride to dutasteride about 9 months ago, that causes huge shedding. But shedding seems to have stopped these past few months.

If I increase the dosage of dutasteride from 0.5mg (1 pill) daily to 1mg (2 pills) daily, will that cause another round of shedding?
