Why not use Nolvadex everyday indefinitely?

I've been using a generic version of Nolvadex (Tamoxifen citrate) for about 3 and a half weeks now because my nipples were getting itchy and I was worried about possible Gyno. I also take 1mg Propecia every day. One thing I have noticed is that the existing fat on my chest has thinned out dramatically. Also my semen has gotten a lot thicker. In my opinion I think most of the serious sides people suffer on finasteride is estrogen related. My question is, what would be the problem in using Tamox for a prolonged period of time?

I have read up on arimidex and one of the problems in taking it is that it negatively affects blood lipid profiles, where as Nolvadex actually improves it. I understand Nolvadex also lowers IGF-1 which I dont believe would be a serious problem. Can someone tell me any other sides or problems one would have in taking Tamoxifen? Thanks

Its interesting to read that igf-1 is lowered because a study had pointed out that men with high levels of igf-1 were a high risk male pattern baldness victim. Indeed why not take nolvadex everyday? So taking HGH along with nolvadex would be a great combo.

one of the possible side effects of Tamoxifen is hair loss. Impotence and decreased libido is another possible side effect. This isn't a drug that should be taken casually and for long periods of time without a Dr's supervision.
I take it from time to time to fight off Gyno. It's probably not the smartest thing I've done in my life :(

finasteride is also a drug not to take for long periods as well.
To decrease igf-1 is to decrease hgh levels and testosterone levels. Test is needed for hair and libido.

why do you say finasteride is not? when finasteride is made and meant to be taken for long periods of time...
