Why is there no permanent, one-time way to block a hair's DHT receptor?

There are pills and topical things that you have to use every day to do this, but is there any reason why there could be nothing done to permanently block a DHT receptor? How do they become unblocked in the first place once a chemical has blocked it? Does the molecule just degrade over time or what?

No money in it if you just stop it and let people get their hair back without making it to a money machine.

I bet you the stem cell thingie will also have some kind of drugs that will help keeping the hair and you need to apply it everyday...aka money machine.

Another reason could also be that dht is used for something so if you body blocks it permanent and you end up being dangerously sick then there's no saving you since they can't remove the blocking anymore.
