Scientists have used liposomes, "squarticles," and even gold nanoparticles successfully in trying to target hair follicles. But many of these studies are from years ago with no sign of them being put to use for patients. For fully treating your hair, if your donor hair has any kind of thinning to it, a topical treatment will likely be necessary, so I do think that new targeted treatment methods are very important. I think people should pursue this more strongly, is there any sign of nanotech for baldness in clinical trials?
