Why don't treatments work for everyone?

It seems odd to me that there are scientifically researched, proven, and finally marketed products, that have efficient ways at combating hairloss, yet, statistically they still ONLY work for about 30-40% to about 60-70%, including Rogaine, Propecia, and any other product out there.

If DHT is the reason behind hairloss, among other things such as inflammation, irritation, disease, etc, can't all these "Scientifically" proven products work for at least 85% of people?

Something tells me that there's more to it than we know still.
Even with finasteride/dutasteride, it still doesnt work for everyone at all.

Why? Can our own individual body makeups be so drastically different that, some people just won't respond?

That's disheartening.

Nickie...you bet your body will respond drastically different from someone else's body.
There are ump-teen different medications for high blood pressure alone. Why?
Everybody responds differently.

You have to take matters in to your own hands and experiment. Trial and error. It sucks but you have to deal with it.

Look at my regimen for example. It is a "one-of-a-kind" topical. I guarantee there's not another sole on the planet doing what I'm doing.

Also, although our bodies are similar, we all have a different genetic makeup. And those differences, even minor ones, can play significant roles. Keep in mind too that some people have aggressive hair loss and others have little hair loss and so forth and so forth. Lots of reasons

thanks guys. You're all SO right, however it sucks that it has to be SO bleak. Mother nature's a f*****g b**ch, (sorry), and has been since the beginning of time, and not only because of hair loss, but diseases, natural death, etc etc, and our poor human scientists are unable to come up with drugs effective enough to treat many diseases, including hair loss. It's almost as if mother nature cleverly designed all this as to say "ha! now try to untangle the myriad of riddles in the dna of yadda yadda."

Food for thought Nickie....
I know someone that has been in a wheelchair since birth. He has never walked, ran, rode a bike, danced, played baseball, etc.

And we b**ch about hair loss.

From his viewpoint we are the lucky ones.
