Why does every dermatologist visit end in frustration?

Is it a product of our health system? (15 minute visits, kick baks from pharmaceuticals to offer certain meds)
General indifference on the part of the Dr.? (hair loss is so common, why try and treat it, esp. if they have it too)
Or am I just too harsh on them? (i try and ask as many q's as possible in my short amount of time)

:dunno:

Some doctors are blind by their materialistic success so they dont take in count problems that we have. Most of them sucks...

they really do. and when i ask a question that makes me come off sounding as a well-informed individual, they instantly become condescending. it's almost as if they are thinking, "uh oh, here is an intelligent patient, I can't just pull the wool over their eyes"

i've been to about a half dozen doctors and I can say the majoirty of them seem to just want me to go away.

Derms can't treat hair loss, they know it, and they're annoyed at having to be asked about it.

There are exceptions but this is the common situation.

Educate yourself. It's not that hard when you're talking about one single specific health problem. The Derm doesn't seem to know a lot because he/she usually DOESN'T know a lot about hair loss specifically.

You pay a doctor to know a lot about a lot of different things, and they generally do. But how can they compete with someone who devotes all their medical interest into just one area, like hair loss? They can't.
