Why do babies between 1 month and 2 years have mature hairlines, with big temples and in some cases a thinning crown?

My 5 month old baby cousin is NW6. It has crown thinning and receded temples. I decided that the best course of action would be intravenous injections of dutasteride. I rub rogaine foam on his head twice a day and am considering feeding it oral spironolactone as well if the big 3 do not do the trick. I only bathe the baby 3 times a week so we do a 5 minute Nizoral soak during each bathtime.

I have already consulted with Armani and Hassan and Wong. Hassan and Wong is skeptical about transplanting a juvenile hairline on a patient so young, because of the great possibility of future loss. "If the patient looks like this at 5 months, imagine how little hair they will have at 9 months!". Armani, courageous surgeon that he is, agreed to transplant the baby at 120 grafts per cm/2 in the hairline. He decided that it would be best to leave the crown bare for now and see what happens.

I'll keep you guys updated.

if thats the case then you might want to talk to the parents about castration.

When my little brother was 9 months old I took him to Armani, and it literally CHANGED HIS LIFE. Before he went he was NW6 and his life was a mess. He had no friends and he seriously just sat around sleeping all day. When I'd try talking to him he would either ignore me or just mumble incoherently.

About 3 months after the transplant his hair started coming in, and there were DRAMATIC changes in his personality. He finally began speaking, and even started to walk around some. After 6 months he was an NW1, and is happy all the time.

Here are before and after pictures for comparison:

actually gents,

whoever started this thread hit upon something that doctors have said for eons. That they can tell what boys will eventually bald most of the time when they are newborns. Your genetic profile is determined early in your mother's pregnancy, most everything is done before she is four or five months pregnant-----------your genetic predispostion is sealed by that time.

There has been talk that there are some things moms could take that might lessen your chance of becoming bald. Ive skimmed a few of these articles in years past, etc, but since it would not apply to me I really didn't care enough to concentrate upon them.

The babys you see with deep recessed temples, will probably have temporal recession later in life, etc..........................

Genes hardwire the living hell out of us, and on that point Blondeguy and Justshaveit are in agreement with me...................DNA is very powerful.

My sons are 20 and 1 month old, and the 20 month old went from a very mature hairline to a very dense pelt. :)

My 1 month old son is going through the same change. As the babies get bigger, their heads growh, and their original hairline travels back. All the new scalp comes in, in front of the hairline. Then the new scalp area looks dark, and then the first crop of hair comes in. The old and new hair are very different. After 6-9 months, the hair looks more uniform, and thicker. Look at the Noah's hairline right now:
