why am i shedding new growth!?

among the thick terminal and thin vellus like hairs i shed i also noticed these tiny little black hairs.....i know they are not the roots of hairs i accidentally clipped becuz they have a pointy end and a very tiny spec of white bulb on the other end. why am i shedding the new growth!??????

I have noticed this too... I have found couple into the sink while drying my hair (once in while). I dont thing this is abnormal.... maybe the new born hair has a shorter life period, they shed to get replaced by thicker ones...
I have reduced my dosage of finasteride from 1mg to 0.65mg. Wonder if this is the cause.

The little ones being shed could either mean they're going to be replaced by even smaller/weaker hairs, or that they will be replaced by stronger ones. As far as I know there's no way to tell besides waiting.

I notice that you are taking Proscar, me too, how can you be so specific about the reduction you have made?
