who has had success regrowing hair by the crown and what did

This is my problem, it's slowly happening. You can't see it extremely well yet, but it's clearly going on. I am not too bad elsewhere for late 30's. I just want to hear someone who had this exact problem and used something and succeeded!...

So far, I have had success in the crown with using both finasteride and minoxidil. I'm also on nizoral twice a week.

How long have you been on finasteride? Any side effects? I've actually got some finpecia coming (3months worth), but am slightly freaked out about starting it about reading possible side effects (I know chances are slim).....and shedding - because I actually have a lot of hair and have just lost some on the crown...did you experience any shedding (especially by the crown)?

I'm closing in on 9 months on finasteride. I had no sheds initially but after the first month I shed a lot for the following 12 weeks.

Thats pretty much the only negative side I have to report. finasteride didn't do anything for my hairline, but the crown got much better in about 5 months of usage.
