white stuff on scalp

so i buzzed my head a couple of weeks ago. now im starting to notice all these white things on my scalp. im not sure what they are but theyre kind of spread all over. it kind of looks like maybe the skin is peeling? or some dryness or maybe minoxidil stains i dont konw. i applied self tanning cream one day (and left it on overnight). and ive been applying minoxidil every now and then too. anyone know what this could be? thanks.

thanks cassin. so if thats hwat it is, i guess i shouldnt really be doing anything? any ideas how long it would take for the whiteness to go away?

Some people have just waited until the bottle runs out and switch brands.

When I used rogaine I remember getting clumps of it. Little chunks that looked like white scabs.
