I've not posted here before so, sorry if I break any rules but..

I'm 18, I noticed hairloss early as last September so almost a year a go. I've basically changed my dying, introducing more healthy things in to it, I've been taking Biotin and Fish Oils as well. I've been using a new Shampoo for around 2 weeks and it contains Biotin, Caffeine and Argan Oil (GrowMe Shampoo). I've also bought Regaine which contains Minoxdil but I didn't want to use it without going to the doctors first..

So I went to the doctors today, I told her that my scalp often itches, hurts and that I have a lot of danddruff(Which is all true.) She prescribed me with Dandrazol but the issue is it contains SLS and Sodium Chloride which I heard isn't good for those losing hair? I don't want to use anything that may permanently damage my hair follicles so I'm a little worried.

On the other hand, I've started noticing small white hairs forming where my hair was previously lost on the sides, I don't think they were there before and they started appearing once I used the GrowMe Shampoo, so if I started using Dandrazol do I risk ruining the white hairs forming? And a last question would be, could I use both Dandrazol and GrowMe together? One on one day, the other one another day and so on.

If you could post some pictures of your hairline with your hair pulled back then we can give our opinions on whether you actually have male pattern baldness.

Dandrazol (ketoconazole shampoo) may be of some benefit in combating male pattern baldness, but not much. Biotin, Fish oil, and the other shampoo you mention will do nothing for your hair. If you do actually have male pattern baldness, you need to be using finasteride to give yourself a realistic chance of successfully treating it. Finasteride the only thing available that really does work well.

It is difficult to tell for sure from those pictures but it looks like you could be in the early stages of male pattern baldness. I suggest you make an appointment with a dermatologist to get a professional examination, and if it turns out you do have male pattern baldness then see about getting a prescription for finasteride.
