Which To Drop Between Revivogen & spironolactone?

I am currently alternating every other day between Revivogen and spironolactone cream/solution. I use spironolactone cream on the hairline and the liquid everywhere else since it's too hard to put the cream on the mid and crown area. My main hairloss is with the hairline where the V shaped hairline is getting narrower and narrower.

I used propecia from 2003 to end of 2008, but my hairline still receded ever so slowly during that time. From January 2009 to now I've been using spironolactone cream on the hairline and liquid everywhere else, but I still sloooowly recede. So in March 2011 I decided to try Revivogen for a good 6 months. I've tried to use Revivogen before but never consistently kept up with it because I was always scared to abandon spironolactone, so this time I alternated between spironolactone and Revivogen every other day. So now it's been 6.5 months and my hairline still slowly recedes and gets slightly thinner. This whole year my shedding has increased a lot in the shower and ever since I started Revivogen I've noticed that after I apply either Revivogen or spironolactone, if I brush my hair for a while at least 20 hairs fall into the sink. I only like applying one topical per day at night before I go to sleep. I want to drop one of them and give Prox-N another go for a full 6 months and see what happens. I tried stopping spironolactone when I re-started Revivogen in March of this year, but after a week to two weeks, this ache or itchiness comes that I've noticed happens when I forget to apply spironolactone for a couple of days. So even though spironolactone has not stopped my receding hairline, it either reduces or eliminates the itch/ache, so I've been alternating between Revivogen and spironolactone since mid-March. Throughout this whole time I have used Nizoral every day when I shower.

I was getting my spironolactone from Dr. Lee, so once he shut down I was concerned I couldn't find a reliable supplier so I thought I would have to stop using spironolactone. I don't like the S5, gives me some weird dizziness maybe due to the rosemary oil they put in it. But now there is minoxidilsolutions, but I still need a place to get the liquid solution.
So my questions are:

1. 6.5 months should be enough time to determine whether or not Revivogen has worked right?

2. Would applying Prox-N before spironolactone be a problem?

3. Which should I drop?

Please don't suggest to use minoxidil as I can't tolerate it, and please don't suggest any other topicals as I don't want to be more experimenting than I already am, and don't want to worry about if the supplier is reliable.

6.5 months should be enough time to see if Revivogen is working for you. It sounds like it isn't. Do you have the new or old Revivogen formula? (I think it changed around March)

Have you tried some minoxidil like the old Dr. Lees #500 or the minoxidilmax fast drying 5%? They are light on the ppg and do not irritate people who are sensitive towards minoxidil.

I have the new formula and I can't use minoxidil not because of skin sensitivity but because it seems to affect my heart rate.
