I live in the US, and I can only find Nizoral 1%. Is the 2% THAT much more potent? Is it even worth it?
I've been on Finasteride for around a year. I just started Minoxidil 5% about 3 and a half months ago. I've gone through a good deal of shedding and now I can see these thin, mostly colorless hairs sprouting through my scalp all over. Under light they cannot be seen, but you can see them at the right angle. Is this usually the first real sign of actual regrowth? What are the chances of these hairs growing and thickening out?
On a side note to that: visibly my hair is thinning on the back and on top, and temples... However, to the touch, you can't tell the difference between the hair on the side of my head and the apparently lack of hair on the top of my head. It all feels the same, feels like I have all of my hair now... it's just, the new hair that grew back is extremely thin and you can't see it.
My last question is that I had read on this site that no treament will work without Nizoral. I just got 1% today and plan to start using it as soon as I finish this post. Now, what effect can this have on what I've got going on up to this point? Should I notice a big difference within the next month using this stuff because I haven't used it ever and like I said earlier, apparently no treatment works without it.... Basically I am wondering if I have been wasting this whole time going without it, or is it just another element that is going to open things up in the regrowth department given what I have been following for the past few months..
