I have a thin skin hair system which is just under two years old. The hair is still passable, but the base has developed a few slits a couple of inches behind the hairline. I've been sticking tape over them, but removing the tape when cleaning seems to be making the slits get bigger. I've read something about a poly repair liquid that can be spread over the tape, presumably so the tape can stay on for several wears. Is this the best way to prevent the base from getting worse? And if so, where in the UK can I buy the liquid poly? I can only find US suppliers that don't deliver here.
