Hi all, I was just wondering where should you go if you are not sure whether you are in early signs of male pattern baldness or not, I have uploaded a few pics previously and most of the results I have got have stated its a crown. Most people i ask (parents and friends) say its a crown. I was told by 2 seperate people i had a bald spot originally which is what gave me this complex. So I am unsure whether i am or not it is a crown as apparently the photos i take make it look worse than what it is.

So to get the best opinion where should I go im in Australia and was thinking of going to Ashley and Martin. Do you think they would give an honest answer or do you think they would just try and get max $ out of me. Where else can I go. thanks

I am in Australia and my GP confirmed that I have male pattern baldness and prescribed me Propecia. If you have a family history of hair loss and strongly suspect you are losing your hair, go and see your GP and if you don't have confidence in them, obtain a referral to a dermatologist. Have them do DHT and Testosterone blood tests for you and if possible, miniaturisation test too. I am not so sure if going to Ashley and Martin is such a good idea as I've heard they are a money hungry wh***. Good luck!

I went to my gp yesterday and he said to me that it is just a crown so il try not to stress but my crown looks like a bald patch because its big (see previous post please) and it is frustrating me because i dont think i have had that there my whole life which could only mean one thing

take pictures of your hair every month over the next 6 months and compare them to see if you are losing hair.
