Is this really your first time you see someone to keep a juvenile hairline in their 80s? I think we've even had a thread about a 100yo sporting a full head of hair recently.
Ironically my (maternal) grandfather died with a full head of hair aswell and I think we all know that one guy with immortal hair follicles. Nothing too special, really.

my great grandfather died with a nw1 maybe nw2. His hair was obviously thinner than a dude in his 30's but he had a full head of hair.
All of his sons, my grandfather and his brothers, all went bald. Genetics are a strange thing sometimes.
