rub Nizoral in vigorously being careful that it gets rubbed directly into your scalp or does applying it like any other shampoo do the job adequately? If you apply it just like normal shampoo will it reach your scalp just as well by dripping down? Thanks.

I like to rub it with my fingers touching my scalp so that I know there is a "layer" of it directly ontop of my scalp, and not just "floating" in my upper hair.
I don't rub very vigorously on my scalp as I don't want to damage it or any hairs

I rub it in to make sure it gets to the scalp, and gets to all the parts of the scalp that I want (particularly the frontal region). I don't go crazy and try to massage it in, but I leave it in for 4-5 minutes to make sure it has some effect.

I didn't shed ANY hairs before using it. On using Nizoral I shed 10 hairs every time.

Yeah, definitely use a feather touch to it whilst using fingertips to rub into the scalp...least then you know you're hitting the spot!
