Hi guys, I'm new to this place... though i've been watching you for a while. I started to do something for my hair loss, which is at a quite advanced stage i would say, about 4 weeks ago. I take propecia and i'm on minoxidil 5%... it's now been 4 weeks and i don't see any visible results. How long shall i wait to see at least if the minoxidil is working (I suppose its effect is more immediate than propecia!)?? i appreciate you sharing your experiences 8)

1+ years for finasteride.
minoxidil I'm not sure, but it's a good handful of months most definately, and you may or may not experience a shed.
I'm saving minoxidil for later... going to be finding out here within the next few months if this year on finasteride has really helped or not.
I think it has and I'm hopeful for more improvments during my second year.
