Hi,

I recently ordered some American Crew Revitalize Copper Peptide spray and I use minoxidil.. so I'm wondering when is the most effective time in which to apply the Revitalize spray.

I usually wash my hair once per day.. I try to wash somewhere around mid-day/evening.. so that my scalp is clean for my bedtime minoxidil application.

Is it best to apply Copper Peptide sprays many hours AFTER applying minoxidil?

Please help..

I'll second this question and add:

Is one or two applications preferred?

Thanks

Thank you kind sir..

And also, what is considered an application? 1 ml in a dropper? 6 sprays directly to the scalp?

Also, any opinions on Revitalize in comparison with say Tricomin? I've used Tricomin before and since it is so expensive, I opted for the Revitalize.

What to expect from this product?

1ml works-- you can put it into a dropper.

I prefer spraying it onto the scalp/hair... enough to get your head moist! I don't know, 10 sprays? That's about how much I put on.

TWICE daily.

I've used both Revitalize and Tricomin. Tricomin is a nice product, but is so expensive. I prefer revitalize for its smell (and price!)

Expect copper peptides to help minimize hairloss (if used twice daily) and to help provide for sustained scalp health. :)

excellent reply, thank you.

in regards to twice a day application, how long after a minoxidil application should one wait? i assume it doesn't matter if one has a clean scalp first before using the revitalize spray?

For the first part of your question...

If you use regular minoxidil (the greasy stuff), I'd wait about 30 minutes-- just to make sure a lot of the greasiness has absorbed.

If you use Dr. Lee's fast drying stuff (my favorite), then wait about 5-10 minutues, then apply copper peptides.

To the second part of your question...

No, it's actually a great feeling to apply the Revitalize spray to a clean and dry scalp... Like giving your scalp freedom. :)

Thanks again,

I find that with the Rogaine I use, when I apply to a clean, dry scalp.. it doesn't absorb fully within an hour.. actually after even 2 hours I can put a fingertip to my scalp, and then put it to my tongue, and taste the minoxidil is still there (gross yes, but I had to test it to see how long it takes to fully absorb)..

So I dunno if it's okay to 'mix' the cp spray on top of still semi-wet unabsorbed minoxidil solution..

Yum

j/k.

It's completely fine. Supposedly copper peptides enhance the absorbtion of minoxidil. So, applying it to a minoxidil-treated surface that isn't "completely" dry is fine.
