When Do You Start To See Results With Finasteride??

Im 19 I was on minoxidile for 8 monthes then stopped gradually.

Now I Have been on finastride 1mg for 2 monthes.

My hair temples got really thin alot worst than what it was on minoxidle..

Im not getting any side effects from finasteride at all..

And been thinking to switch to dutasteride because Im young and my androgen levels are too high and finasteride simply maybe not strong enough.

Or should i just wait 8 monthes before I switch to dutasteride?

And I've a question if im not getting sides from finasteride then I wont get sides from dutasteride or it's more risky to get side effects?

My hair is getting worst already I've lost alot of hair in only 2 monthes..
Isn't finasteride blocks dht once you have just taked it
so isn't it suppose to start working from the first pill you have taked?
For me it didn't stop my hairloss and i dont want to lose more hair so this why im worried and thinking about dutasteride

no because it takes time until the effect of blocking of dht reaches hair follicles. This can take some months. Most ppl with super fast results get it bc of minoxidil and not finasteride. Finasteride needs a lot more time to show his power. If you're able to stop shedding and itching within the first 3 months, thats already a good sign but dont expect any regrowth for the first 6 months.

Just stick with that sh*t, don't panic and be patient.

Another thing to note. If dutasteride doesn't work, the last options ar RU, oral spironolactone, oral minoxidil. I've seen some success stories of people with very aggressive male pattern baldness and dutasteride and finasteride did nothing but they had this certain combo. Dutasteride, oral spironolactone 100-200mg and oral minoxidil 5-10mg Apparently this combo kills male pattern baldness. But it could have bad side effects. spironolactone can cause gyno. Some people believe that their hair is also sensitive to testosterone so spironolactone lowers testosterone a bit. And alot of people get worse results on minoxidil so they try oral minoxidil and get crazy regrowth. Sorry that this is a long message. I am trying not to advocate any of this. I just wanted you to know what other people have done so far with super aggressive male pattern baldness. And to know what options exist. Also to note, im taking dutasteride and finasteride. Its been maintaining for me thank god. finasteride didn't do much for me. So im using dutasteride finasteride and minoxidil. And i haven't had side effects. Again i know male pattern baldness is hell but i hope everything works for you and hopefully you get results on finasteride.
