What's your verdict on my hair loss? Time to jump on finasteride/minoxidil? (18 y/o)

I first noticed my early stages of hair loss in November after I got a haircut; the following pictures I'm going to upload are of my hair around 1-2 months later after I allowed it to grow out. It may or may not have progressed further, I'm not sure. As you can see from the later pictures, given that my hair is fairly thick and the way in which it naturally falls, my hair loss isn't detectable unless I pull back my fringe to reveal my temples.

As for my family history, it's only really my Mum's side with any history of male pattern baldness. Her brother is a NW5-NW6 at 60. Her Dad died a NW4 at 50. I feel like, even if I'm male pattern baldness prone, hair loss at 18 is very early and potentially a bad sign, isn't it?

What I'm looking for from this forum is:

1. A confirmation that I am in fact experiencing male pattern baldness and what stage on the norwood scale I'm at.

2. Your opinion on whether or not I should start using finasteride and minoxidil at 18 years old.

3. Provided I do start finasteride and minoxidil, where do you see me in 5, 10 and 15 years from now? Do you think there's still a good chance I could have the same head of hair at 30? At 35? At 40?

Thanks for your time, guys.

that's definitely miniaturization. Given your family history and age I would say the future of your hair does not look bright without treatment. I would not start minoxidil. Just start finasteride only, take daily. It will probably be enough to stop anything more long term. See a hair transplant doctor (preferably) or a dermatologist for a prescription, or maybe just ask your GP to prescribe it for you first. Or you can just get it online without a script from alldaychemist or inhousepharmacy

What zzzzz said as far as everything else it's luck of the draw maybe you will have a full head of hair maybe you will start losing again at 30 no one can tell you just wait and see. If you do start losing you can always hop on dutasteride or start dutasteride early and maybe add a topical ?
