whats the average amount of hair one suppost to shed on finasteride

loosing 50 to 100 and even 150 hair a day is normal. what's the average amount on finasteride one suppose to shed being a responder?
i don't know if it's because i have a ceaser cut #1 clipper but all i'm getting is around 3 to 5 to hair in the shower. even before i got it cut to a #1 i shed the average 5 hair a day.

I don't think anyone really knows an answer to this question. It's kind of like asking if a butterfly flaps it's wings in Florida, will it cause a hurricane in Spain.

Really, hair is that complicated. Although they say that on average people shed between 50 - 150 hairs per day. 150 per day is extreme and I guess 75 - 80% of people do not shed that much. In reality is probably well below 50 for the average person. So I think your shedding is normal. You may shed more one month and then very little the next.

I haven't really shed at all since 2002. The process of shedding does not mean that the hairs will grow back weaker. Even my girlfriends have been shedding more than me. 100 hairs every day is not unusual for a girl. The difference is that it doesn't matter for them (in most cases) as they grow back as thick as before again.
