You never consider your chances until you notice hairloss.

Maternal grandad - nw6
Paternal grandad - nw4
Father - nw1 (58yo)
Paternal uncle1(50) - nw5 since 30
Paternal uncle2(56) - nw4

Me - nw2 at 31yo. Where will it go noone knows! Lol

There's been a study on this subject, although I wish we had a newer or bigger one that is additive. Ie. if your uncle and dad were bald you'd have X% chance. Anyway, here's a table from that study, the higher the OR, the higher your chance for balding.

Back when i was in highschool, there was this 16 yr old kid going towards nw4 (not messing around). He's got a buzz cut ever since then.
His dad is NW2 at most.

Seems a very odd probability Sunchyme1. Your familial history would indicate good hair in your future. But genetics is fickle and we know even less about epigenetic influences. Theoretically my kids should be bald as almost everyone on my mother and father's side had major hair loss as they got older. My wife's father kept his hair till death. Yet my two sons show no beginning loss at 30 and 33. I first noticed losing at 18, front hairline receded significantly in 30-40s, then crown opened up badly at 50+. Withered flower ready to return to the earth. :(

Dad: NW4, temples literally non-existent , crown is pretty good , because of which Im not really sure if he's NW4 to begin with
Paternal grandparent: was about NW5a at 80
Paternal uncle : has a buzz cut but I don't think he's above NW2, NW3 at most
Maternal grandfather : not even on the norwood scale, had perfect hair at 60
Me : NW1 at 20

I don't see any connection between my family tree and myself, lol.
