Hello,

I have been reading the information on this forum and am kinda confused with the abundance of information and was hoping to get some direction from some who are better educated. My hair has been receting some by the temples, and I have noticed a small amount of hair disappering from the crown area. It is not that bad, but I am wondering what to use to combat this mild hair loss. The three possibilities that that i have read on for someone in my boat is tricomin, spironolactone, and nizroal. I don't know if this is 100% correct or if I should just use one or two or all. Frankly, I don't know what to use. I just know that I probably don't need rogaine or propecia yet, and just wanna combat this and maybe get some regrowth if possible. Can you please give me some feedback. Thanks

So let me get this straight: Your hairloss is currently at a level where you dont need Propecia or Rogaine yet?. So instead of doing the sensible thing, which is get on top of this problem while you still can, your going to wait until your hairloss progresses to a point where you have to start using Propecia or Rogaine.
Do you realise that by simplying taking Propecia once a day and maybe using Nizoral as a shampoo every few days you might be able to prevent any more hairloss? spironolactone and Tricomin are ususally advised for people who have had no or little success with the clinically proven treatments which are Propecia and Rogaine. As you have tried neither may I suggest you seriously consider starting Propecia so you can keep the hair you have already got?
Loads and loads of people on here had wished they had not waited to do something about their hairloss (I know I wish I had started Propecia as soon as I noticed my hair thinning). Youve now got the chance to keep the hair youve got. Most people on here would kill for that chance!
And yes a lot of people on here will tell you to go on Propecia. The reason for that is because it is the best known treatement for male pattern baldness, and theres an 83% chance you can keep the hair youve got and even regrow some hair you have lost.
