I went to this website that was given in another thread:

and this is what the first paragraph says:
"Hair loss affects approximately 40% of men and 20% of women aged 50 and over. In the USA there are an estimated 40 million men and 20 million women suffering from some degree of baldness and some $1.5 billion is spent annually on hair loss therapies. "

So if there are 60 million people in the USA suffering from male/female pattern baldness, and only 1,500 million dollars being spent each year, that's 1,500mill / 60mill = 25 f*cking dollars per person each year!!!

Is there a lawyer, or better yet, a senator in the gd house?!? We need to make a frickin law that taxes every balding person $100 per year. That way the gd CEOs of these companies that have even the remote potential to push for studies that might lead to a cure will see the $$$ signs dangling in front of their eyes, and they won't cancel studies like Glaxo did for Avodart.

$25. Holy sh*t. We need to hire a hacker, steal just 1/4 of what Britney Spears makes in a year, and use that to fund research for what causes us to be in this hell.

You got that right elguapo. I have wet dreams about this magical day in the future when I head to Home Depot to pick up my half pallet of "Scalp Sod" to roll onto my head! Rows upon rows of pallets of Scalp Sod in every imagineable color... blonde, every shade of brown, red, black, whatever fits ya. Just roll the sh*t on and hairloss is gone for good.
