sorry for bad pictures, However I'm wondering what stage you think I'm at? I'm considering a transplant in future, will finasteride or minoxidil help my conidition?

My crown is pretty thick

With heavily diffused hair.

Def need to be on finasteride, and maybe after a year reevaluate your situation

Second that, also why don't you try take pictures from different angles instead of all from the same one, and put a crown pictures as well.

Honestly man you should buzz it down. Taper the sides, and go for the ranger style military cut.

it looks unkempt and trashy at that length. (not hating just giving you real life input)

It's messy on purpose, I haven't had it cut for 8 weeks, I kept it long as I'm going for a derm appointment next week, and I went to see a hair transplant surgeon for consult last week, so I thought the longer the better

the hair around my ears and nape of neck, are whispy and strange too, so I'm hoping there is some medical condition causing it, I haven't yet been tested for Lupus

I'm skinny too, I do not suit a shaved head, trust me, I've tried. AIDS patient springs to mind. Thin face

Theirs nothing strange about having hair loss on the sides, neck, and nape area. it's known as retrograde alopecia, and a lot of male pattern baldness sufferers deal with this also.

I don't think you will be a good candidate for hair restoration due to the fact that you have retrograde alopecia in the areas where grafts are commonly harvested. A fut may be in question but not so much FUE...

I was told my donor area is good, no hair loss there, so the donor area is limited to 2000-2500 grafts he said. He said the nape area isn't thin and theres no hairloss, the hair is just different
