I noticed alot of shedding today in my receding temples before I made the ultimate decision , that I was going to start Minxodil , Currently waiting for a appt with a Dermatologist, so I can try an get prescribed Finasteride.. What should I do?? I took several detailed pictures. First one is how I normally have my hair.
Second one is pulling back my hairs on my temples, and 3rd one is my right temple which is receding way worse than my left one. What do you guys think of my hair line, was it smart of me to start combatting this early, or do you think I should stop. Im 22 years old what norewood am I? Im pretty sure W my thinning Im a Norewood 3.

Yeah your hairline is going down the shitter. To be honest id just get on finasteride for at least 6 months and see how that goes. If you don't get desired results, then add minoxidil. You don't went to get stuck on a greasy topical treatment 2x a day for the rest of your life of you don't absolutely have to.

I Think the same lol. I was in denial for awhile almost a year using bigen dye an sh*t to cover it, hiding it was easy I got thick hair and I still have hairs on my hairline so it didnt look un natural.. but pulling my hair back an going to a buzz cut. Im def balding on my temples, badly too. I see so many kids on here with minimal norewood 2 thinning. i go from a norewood 1 hairline, to norewood 3 thinning. I cant see myself thinning much more after that either. My dad has a norewood 3 at 55 an still a full head. Im only 22 w norewood 3 thinning. I ALREADY started minoxidil today. Only on my right temple to test it. Ill be doing it for 6 months. Im def getting on finasteride Asap. But it takes a while, in order to get prescribed I need to see primary care doctor, he'll refer me to a dermatoligist, an then the derm would write me the prescription

I know you're thinking you should do something in the mean time, but hold off on min. One treatment is nothing. Just get the finasteride n try that out. Thing is, you won't know if min is even doing anything of you start both at the same time, then you'll feel stuck on min for the duration.

Thank you man, Whats your age and how has Finasteride worked for you? I Was about to get an online prescription it was 60$ for 6 months. But Ive found way better prices, but to get those prices I need a doctors prescription.
