I got a full hormone panel. Been on topical finasteride, but making the move onto the pill. My testosterone is on the low end of the spectrum (around 320 or so) , estrogen is lower end of normal range as well (forget but will check) , my DHT is 13!!! normal range is 21-75 i believe? and my cortisol (which i have always known is the cause of my hairloss because i am prone to hot flashes and rapid heart rate when im nervous or embarassed) is 19, with the highest end of the normal range being 21.
so my question is, how low should DHT actually be on oral propecia?
with a level of 13..will it even go lower on oral dose?
i should also mention my sex drive is through the roof, no problems getting erection, maintaining one, or loss of volume of semen.
do have what can be called "brain fog" on some days..meaning i struggle for the right word to use..its on the tip of my tongue but i cant think of it so i sound retarded when i speak at times lol but small price to pay. my hairline itself is the only hair thats being affected. vertex is a problem but one that has held steady for 7 years.
would like to also mention, hairline saw a resurgance last winter..thickened to its best in about 5 years and then stress caused these hot flashes, hot flashes brought hot face and sweaty forehead, hair shed, hot flashes continued due to fear of losing hair and well its a horrible cycle.now im getting a joel mchale hairline pre-transplant.
