What Norwood Will I Get To Once These Miniaturized Hairs Die? (not On finasteride Yet)

Hey guys so about 10 months ago I was norwood 1 or 0 not exactly sure but basically my hairline looked exactly like ross geller from friends. I noticed my hairline thinning really quickly and hairs at the front getting thin in general so i went to the derm. She confirmed I had male pattern baldness but told me to wait on finasteride and try minoxidil instead. Minoxidil didnt help at all and the hairs kept getting thinner and thinner and in a few weeks im sure those miniaturized hairs on the temples will be full bald. The question is, once these miniaturized hairs are slick bald what norwood would I be? NW2? Is it also worth taking finasteride at this point or should I be hopeful that it goes no furthur. I know that one day I will be bald because my father was a NW6ish when he was my age (21) and im okay with it but I atleast want hair until 35 even if its not gonna be perfect like my hairline from last year.

Any advice/comments/insights is appreciated.

I didnt quit it. Still using it its been about 3.5 months now. Ive been using rogaine.

oh, i see. Well, i'm not great at norwoods so I'm not sure, but I doubt you're above 1.5 or so

1.5 even after those hairs soon fall off? Id be happy with maintaining a 1.5 for years but this sh*t does not seem to be slowing down. Every week im noticing changes in the hairline and hair density.

I'm not entirely sure man, so I don't really want to make an assumption. Ever considered jumping on finasteride?

Strongly considered it and still am. I really dont want to take it though unless my hand is forced. Im okay with losing hair if it happens slowly over time and looks decent until im like late 30s or so and then being bald at 40 but it doesnt seem like its stopping any time soon. My fathers hairloss also doesnt help lol.
