What Norewood Am I? 1/2/3, Am I Thinning?

I made a different post, but heres a more detailed one with more pictures. I have some pics of my hair 4 months ago when I had it buzzed and now. I have a natural Widows peak which I shave off. It looks like Im thinning on my temples, have miniaturization and thinning crown. And it looks like I have diffuse thinning throughout my scalp, whats your guys opinion.? Help should I start treatment?

Start finasteride, give it 12 months, if no results but you are maintaining add minoxidil, either topical or low dose oral.

Isn't there side effects to the Finasteride, I heard guys losing muscle. Becoming impotent, and permanent sexual dysfunction. I ordered minoxidil about a month ago but its still sitting in the packagr never been openned, I told myself its last resort, I seen ppl shedding an losing more hair, an you have to use it for the rest of your life, from my understanding too it doesnt stop you from balding or block dht, it only promotes blood flow and hair growth.. ive been trying scalp massages, natural dht blockers like olive oil. Less shampooing, cold showers , and even hand stands to promote blood flow. I also eat very healthy and only drink water.. mainly cause I also have kidney stones, i been doing that for about a month ,and I think my thinning hairs on my temple have gotten stronger, I really dont wanna lose my hair line, up to the thinning point, that would suck.

Yes there is a small possibility of sexual and mental sides with finasteride but they are small. If you get debilitating sides from the drug then simply stop it, the only way to maintain your hair is by using a 5ari like finasteride, sucks but it's all we have. As for minoxidil, yes, there is usually an initial shedding phase where you lose hair but it is replaced by thicker stronger new hairs, just ride the initial shed out. I would say try finasteride on it's own for 12 months first though.

I've heard ppl have permanant side effects like EDalso heard of ppl using it for a year and than it stopped working. Its so hard to outweigh the negatives and positives.. how old are you, do you take them, whats your experience like?

If PFS even exists it is very, very rare. Millions of men worldwide take finasteride with no problems. If you care about your hair and want to maintain it or get some regrowth you have no choice but to try it and see for yourself.

Finasteride can have sides. Permanent even. Rare but it could be you. Fact is, everybody responds differently. Some never get their dht levels back to nornal.

Finasteride can grow your hair. You might never get sides. Its up to you.

Why shave off the widows peak? It looks dumb without it. But hey at least that Alexander kid has a friend now.

Your hair is really oily. Oily hair sticks together, meaning more scalp is exposed. I don’t think cutting your shampoo regimen is going to do you any favors in the long run. It’s certianly possible you’re diffusing, it even looks like it is in some of those pictures, but with greasy hair its really hard to tell for sure if you are and the extent of it.
