What more treatments can I try?

After over a year with 1.25mg proscar I started taking 0.5mg finpecia instead. I also started using 5% minoxidil when I cut the finasteride dosage. Been using nizoral about 3times/week to combat an unhealthy scalp.

My hairline has gotten worse since I started minoxidil but I guess that's to be expected in the beginning.

Anyway, my question is. What else could/should I try? I read about copper-something and retin-a for instance.

There are plenty more too, but these include a lot of the popular or promising treatments.

Take a look at what I am using and you could pick a couple things. There are topicals out there if those fight into your lifestyle.

Pick only five items from the list.

If you use them all you may turn into an ape.

Hey sublime

There’s one, very important supplement I don’t see on your list:

"The Flinstones multivitamin"

Can’t believe you don’t take at least one of those a day.

Thanks for the replys guys!

I think I've decided on the nano shampoo. As I understand it helps to regrow _and_ keeps the scalp healthy, which tipped the scale.

But ofcourse I have more questions :) On the sites I've checked it says that it should be used with something called Prox-N. Any oppinions on this? Also, is that a product that has to stay in the hair like minoxidil during the day?

Prx-n: You could keep it on the hair at night too.

How bad is your balding? Why are you reluctant to have a more thorough regimen?

FC: I still have a "full" head of hair. Receeding hairline and temples, thinning crown but still have hair everywhere and no bald spot.

Cost is one reason not to go for the whole shebang. Another is that if I start using all the treatments out there I wouldnt have time to do anything else :)

Okay, but you have to protect against DHT, otherwise you will probably fall victim.

If you don't like taking drugs I understand, but it will be a lot harder. Nettle's leaf, pygeum, bayberry extract, and green tea extract are topicals to consider to help you fight DHT.

It sounds like a pain in the *** (and it probably is) but would you rather spend the time or slowly go bald? Don't answer, just think about it. Good luck.
