What kind of expert should I be seeing?

As said above, I'm not too sure whether i'm experiencing hairloss. I've seen my GP and he said I have no noticeable loss, but recently the hairs that I've been shedding in the shower though about the same in amount seem thinner. I've also noticed my right temple seeming higher and more "receded" than my left which seems completely normal.

So my question is what kind of expert should I be seeing to confirm once and for all. I heard derms were an option but they only deal with very brief cases.

Thanks :DD Hoping to deal with male pattern baldness as early as possible

I went to see a hair transplant surgeon. These doctors will also do consultations and check ups for your hairloss and should have much better knowledge in his area than any GP or dermatologist. Pick a good one, a good one will want you to get on the big three and monitor you for a couple of years, a bad one will suggest a transplant before you give the big three a proper go.

You should see a dermatologist. They're unbiased professionals that no more about skin conditions than any other md/do.
