Looking ahead to the future, I may go down this road.. Figuring out how long I would need to stay in the shadows post transplant worries me more than the transplant itself.

If you're a good candidate and have a GOOD transplant Doctor, then not long at all.

The tissue will heal within days, and you'll have your little spikey transplants there for a few weeks, until they shed, but chances are, you will want to be shaved down for the procedure anyways.

The REAL worry, is if you get Telogen Effluvium after the procedure, and if you don't respond to medication. I see you're not on any preventative medication?? What makes you think the lost hair from the procedure will grow back? I am speaking from personal experience and from many, many accounts I have read online.
