just thought i'd let people know what i've found some success with,.

My regime;

Finasteride 0.5mg daily
Fluridil
T3
spironolactone
Alpecin Caffeine shampoo and after shampoo liquid
Nizoral
Neutrogena T-Gel Plus

So i rotate the shampoos around 3 days, nizoral, t-gel then alpecin and then right back to nizoral. The t3 pill gets crushed up and dissolved into the fluridil capsule. spironolactone gets applied if i get the chance, as i work freelance some days i dont need to leave the house and can apply it every 3 hours.

have been on this regime for around 4-5 months, was previously using dutasteride for around 18months and really saw little gain or loss until month 11 or 12 when i got the mother of all sheds. waited for the hair to rebuild but after another 8 or 9 months decided i'd given it enough time to work and dropped it. my current regime has stopped all shedding (fluridil) have seen no further cosmetic loss, and my individual hairs are thickening up nicely. large amount of small hairs coming in around the hairline, definately thicker than vellus hairs but too early to say whether they'll bulk up or not. thats it for now

Thanks for letting us know.

What exactly do you think the T3 does?

this study for one, there are better ones out there but that was the first that came in google. a french study a while back decided baldness is caused by thinning of the scalp skin, and t3 thickens skin and promotes hair growth and more strands per centimetre apparently ( not sure about that last part) .

fact of the matter is, its experimental and i have no idea if it does anything. i most probably do have a minor underlying thryoid condition as some tests in that area came back borderline, but i doubt a topical application would help that in any way. i just like a little bit of a gamble.

as to where i got the t3 from, i honestly cant remember plus i dont know if posting websites is frowned upon by HairLossTalk.com or not.. some internet pharmacy, i do remember it wasn't hard to find though.
