What is the best way to apply Rogaine foam?

For the product to work I assume you have to get it on the scalp, would it be best to shave your head? How do you apply it with grown out hair on your head? They say half a cap full, but I have diffuse thinning throughout the top of my head. Some tips would be great and appreciated. Thanks.

So does Rogaine work on diffuse thinners? :dunno:

I don't want to waste it by having it get absorbed by the hair on my head, what's left of it anyways.

Yeah I have always thought foam was sort of catering to shorter haired people since it seems like a lot of it would get stuck to the hair if you had longer hair.

As suspected I put my first dose on today and most of it was caught in the hair itself. I'm already thinking I wasted 50 bucks on 3 cans of moose. I am a diffuse thinner and need to get the foam on most of the top of my head and in a spot on the back. Not sure how I can do that with only half a cap the way the hair seems to absorb it before I can even get to the scalp.

The dumb thing is even if you regrow hair thick and full how do you continue to use it then? It would be virtually impossible to get to the scalp and you would probably have to shave your head and if you had to do that what would be the point of regrowing hair?

Tips anyone?? Please!

well the only option is to buy more and be sure your head is entirely soaked i guess...wrap it in a towel?

you should ask SE Freak, he has long hair and he uses rogaine and imo i don't think there is anyone more successful than him at this present moment

it gets expensive but thats the price of beauty

It says on the label that no more than half a cap full should be used.
