I've been on minoxidil for 4 years. in the following months I am going to take propecia. I now these 2 come along just fine but i was wondering what is the best to use as a third? Nizoral, Revivagen,Tricomin or something else? What is the most succesful combination for treatment?

Suggest you rotate anti inflammatory shampoos on an every other day basis.

Monday-TGEL
Tues-normal shampoo
Weds TGEL

Etc.

After 3 weeks, swap Nizoral for TGEL and go for three weeks.

Etc.

Good luck

I would also suggest leaving the shampoo on your scalp for 5 minutes before rinsing. This can make all the difference in the effectivenss of the shampoo. I use head and sholdiers and nizoral. I have started leaving the H&S on my head for the 5 minutes like nizoral and it seems to make a substantial difference as well, as even the small amount of white flakes I experience after running my hands through my hair have dissapeared.

yes i know all that. sorry i did not mention a shampoo in my question. i use progaine which is said that works well with minoxidil. but i am going to change it know. nizoral can be a stand alone shampoo or is just anti-inflamatory? i don't want to use any common shampoo from the market. also i think that minoxidil should be combined with something else (that was my original question). you apply minoxidil and once it is dried you apply something else like revivogen and crinagen. what do you think is the best?

Uhhhhhhhhh... you did mention a shampoo in your question, and we recommended nizoral. There is a reason that nizoral is placed upon what is known as the 'big three' in the hairloss treatment world. That along with minoxidil and propecia are the best weapons. Progain is garbage and does nothing in aid of the minoxidil. Nizoral can be a stand alone shampoo every 3rd day, although you may use a conditioner if you wish. Don't worry about using revivogen or crinagen until you give the other treatments 10-12 months.
