What is shockloss?

I just started to lightly consider getting a FUE and until now when I saw the term on this sight I didnt know anything about a Shockloss. Im assuming its some kind of hair loss resulting from an hair transplant, but can someone clarify for me?

Just had my first hair transplant last week. I had fue done no shock loss yet shock loss from what I read can happen from fue or strip. from what i understand is that hair from around the donor or recipient area can fall out and go dormant but will grow back due from the surgery. I think everybody is different when it comes to this like i said did not experience this yet does not mean its not coming only a little over a week out of surgery.
