Ok I'm a thinning nw2 6 months on finasteride. No sides so far but I can't see any regrowth or thickening. My loss and thinning stopped and that's great and I'm thankful!
But I wanna get some regrowth or at least some thickening... so if after 1 year I won't have any regrowth should I try minoxidil or dutasteride? Or maybe both dutasteride and minoxidil?
P.s My current regime is finasteride 1.25 and keto shampoo 3 times a week

Minoxidil would be your best bet.

Dutasteride you may experience a bit more regrowth as opposed to finasteride, but like finasteride its best at maintaining. Minoxidil is what is generally used to try achieve regrowth. You should be warned that if you start minoxidil you will experience a large shed in the area it is applied and it takes time to see results; also like finasteride it is something you need to routinely do, since once you start you can't stop. So only consider minoxidil if its something you can see yourself doing every single day.

I personally recommend the foam if you're going to use minoxidil as the liquid form takes fairly long to dry, I apply a fair amount and in liquid it took around 2 hours to fully dry. In foam I'm good to style my hair in the morning in around 15 minutes of waiting. I use foam in the morning liquid at night.

You should be on minoxidil now. Why wait?

Because it's the best approach not jumping on minoxidil, if it's not the case. Wait until 1 year, decide after that.

bollocks. Should've started using minoxidil as soon as you jumped on finasteride.

Not true. If you jump on minoxidil you will never know the gains only from finasteride/dutasteride. And if you ever want to drop minoxidil from your regimen, what then?

I don't care about where my gains come from. I'll be taking finasteride and minoxidil until I die. If you stop your regimen you lose your gains, simple.
