what if you shave your head tottaly bald while on minoxidil

is this like starting from scratch, or will the hairs keep growing the same as long as you keep using the minoxidil.

If you shave bald the hair is still there. So no, you won't be starting from scratch.

But, if you keep applying minoxidil and keep shaving your head I don't think there is anything wrong with that. The minoxidil seeps into your scalp. Hair on your head is not affected by minoxidil, it is affected internally.

Keep in mind that when you shave close, it takes off the top layers of skin just like when you shave your face, so if you apply minoxidil soon after, it will sting for a few seconds (even the foam). Second, it may absorb and get into your system more easily.

With a buzzed head, when you apply the minoxidil you know its hitting the targeted area and not getting lost in hair. But I find when applying minoxidil on my buzzed head a bit tends to run down towards my eyebrows and cheeks.
