Hey guys, I'm 21 years old and have been dealing with receding temple points. I've always seemed to have receding points so my receding temples have not been aggressive at all. However, being 21 and young, I want to keep the hair that I have. I have no other hair loss problems and I do not shed very much. My father is bald, my uncle is not, and on my mom's side noone is bald. How far along am I? Any advice on what I should do?

Hi! It looks like NW2, same like mine (or just 1.5?). I started to take finasteride for the same reason, to keep what i have. About 1.5 months ago I asked the guys on this forum for an advice, and they said I have mbp and use the big 3. minoxidil+Finasteride+Nizoral. So I'm using now minoxidil twice a day: spectral uhp at night, and rogaine in the morning. Taking generic finasterid 1.25 mg/ day. I have no side effects. My grandpa is in NW2-3, he's 72 now, but my father is bald...

I would personally recommend that you try finasteride for a year and see how you get on with it. If you maintain your hair then you can add the minoxidil for possible regrowth.
