Depends what you are using. I get those with minoxidil, some may turn terminal.

The ones around the existing hairs may get a bit longer, minoxidil could boost them. However if they have been like this for a few months it is unlikely from my own experience. Basically if there is regrowth, once it starts you can notice the changes by eye.

I will add in April if finasteride will work
