What exactly in finasteride and dutasteride makes new hairs "Regrow"???
I'm trying to figure what in the products makes new hair "regrow" in bald areas, its a mystery to me. I know it blocks DHT which can be a hair killer, so I understand how it can keep the hair you have but I don't understand how it stimulates new hair to grow. I even understand how it strengthen old hair to be stronger by blocking DHT, because when DHT is blocked hairs aren't being damaged by it, hence how they become stronger. But I don't understand how it makes new hairs in bald spots that have been bald for awhile.
They say minoxidil is a mystery, but it makes more sense to me that minoxidil stimulates blood to scalp waking up hair follicles, but finasteride to regrowing hair by just blocking DHT doesn't make sense. People who get castrated don't start growing Afros.
