I just got my folligen in the mail and on the back it says Mfg: 10/10

What does that indicate?....hopefully not expiration date.

Manufactured date. It was made on that day. Happy (early)Birthday to your bottle of Folligen!

I noticed Swanson has been using the Mfg date as well. Some new regulation(s) out there? I can't imagine they'd think it's better when consumers see that. I'd rather see a bottle expiring in 2 years rather than one that's even only 6 months old.

Due to the rules within FDA's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) regulations, we recently changed the manner in which we date items with Swanson® brand labels.

Dietary supplement products (products labeled with supplement facts) labled on or after July 21, 2010, will display a "manufacture date" (or "born on" date) rather then the "expiration or best by date" currently displayed. This date represents the day on which the product in the bottle was manufactured.

This change in product dating applies only to Swanson brand supplements and does not include food items or topical or cosmetic products (creams, lotions, shampoo, etc.).

Thanks FDA..now what..we have to contact the company to find out when something expires? :shakehead:
