what does it look like when you start to regrow hair?

I know that probably sounds like a dumb question and maybe it is. I am cautiously optimistic. Here's the deal: I have been using finasteride for about 5 months and min for about 1.5 months. Within the last week or so I have started to notice little hairs sprouting up around my hairline and below it. I'm pretty darn sure they weren't there before. Most are dark but some seem to be light in color.

For those that have regrown, is this how it starts? If so HOORAY. I used min by itself for MONTHS last year without any positive results. I'm still shedding, but I could swear my hair seems a little denser. (I'm a diffuse thinner)

yes that's exactly how it started for me. tiny hairs below my hairline and inside my temples.

congratulations. you should see at least moderate regrowth along your hairline. the new hairs are small because they are regrowing.

so i take it these are vellous hairs? i to have been on finasteride for about 6 months and minoxidil about 2 1/2 ...there all over my temples where my hairline had receeded ...are these gonna become new hairs ? that would be awesome ...how long does it take for them to grow thicker ? my damn hair is so thin now it sux i don't know what is goin on i don't really notice any shedding just thin hairs in general!

just give it time - a few months. if they are destined to change from vellous then it will happen.

awesome! that is very good news!

My hairs are mostly dark already. The new ones coming in, they are short and have a tapered end but they are dark. I guess that's a good thing.
