What Do You Guys Think My Next Move Should Be?

Hey guys
I'm 22 year old and i've been on finasteride 1.25mg once daily for about 2 years now and minoxidil once daily for about 15 months. Dad is bald and both older brothers who are 27 and 30 years old, are being hit pretty bad. I have no doubt that i've slowed down my balding somewhat but i'm still noticing recession.

I would say I'm a NW2 but I'll include a picture just to see what you guys think and I'm just wondering what my next move is as minoxidil and finasteride don't seem to be enough. Also started dermarolling about 5 weeks ago with 1.5mm needles but don't really have any expectations for it. Should I take the step onto dutasteride?

If finasteride is keeping your hairloss in check, transplant is probably your next move. rarely see frontal regrowth from dutasteride if finasteride/minoxidil havent already.

If you've been on finasteride for 2 years and you're losing ground, I would consider adding dutasteride.

Try .5mg dutasteride 3x week in addition to what you're already doing

Frontal could also be treated by additionally applying ru.
There are different views on that but as finasteride is not blocking 100% dht and no Testosterone, ru could help.
Additionally if you are receeding the application area is limited, so you can slap a lot of ru on a small area.
I would check how your hormone levels are looking. Check dht, t and e2 to see if finasteride is doing its job.
If dht is very low and e2 is high, ru should work, if dht is still normal you can try dutasteride.

Or you can add low dose dutasteride 0,5 mg once a week.

Stop this craziness. Seriously, that's not a Norwood II, it's a Norwood 1 at most.

You have nothing to complain about. Shut the f*ck up, seriously man. Not trying to
be rude, but....

Where you get your ru from? I honestly feel much safer using dutasteride than ru, even though it is a topical. Seems way more sketchy.

And way more likely to produce hair gains

Looks like a mild NW2 to me. NW1 is zero hair loss.

You need to chill out a bit man. I'm not on here complaining saying I have it worse than everyone else, I'm just here to get some advice of people that are more experienced and have more knowledge than me. I've noticed more receding on finasteride and min so just wanted to see what options I have.

You sure you've continued to recede tho? Hair looks pretty damn good after 2 years on treatments. Still insanely thick. You have before photos?

I don't have any before photos unfortunately, really wish I'd had the foresight to take them. But i'm fairly certain regardless, started out with basically a NW0 hairline and I think finasteride definitely helped with slowing down the recession but overtime I've noticed an acceleration in the recession.

Why would you ever go on finasteride with a NW0 hairline? That means literally no hair loss, not even a mature hairline.
