What Do To About Improving Existing Hair Quality?!?

Basically my hair at the front, where I have been using minoxidil looks horrible and fried and to me, it looks like the effects of miniaturisation and thinning. It feels like minoxidil, that I’ve been using for two years now, is just detrimental to any hair follicles it gets to on my head. But I’m too scared to stop and of course I could be wrong.

So has anyone been able to restore the quality of their hair? I’m thinking finasteride.. but also worried if it affects my hair all over all my hair could go to this hair quality.

This is my hair once I’ve brushed out my curls (which are looking Increasingly limp)
