What can I expect from minoxidil? Details in thread.

I am norwood 3 vertex but not too extreme. I don't have a bald spot but have thinning hair on vertex. Yes you can see my scalp easily on vertex but I still have lots of hair there. You can't see my scalp on the middle of my scalp even under the sun but my hairline groups together and you can see scalp under lighting.


What should I expect from minoxidil?
I'm also on duta and am using nizoral. I would also say that minoxidil has shown amazing growth on my temples whereas my hairline has little pigmented hair which are turning terminal. I'm more concerned about my crown or vertex. It's density is low enough to see my scalp even when no direct light falls on it.

If you respond well to Minoxidil, you can expect good hair regrowth, cosmetically healthier hair, and improved density. Since you're on Dutasteride, you should be able to keep and maintain the hair you have left quite well while Minoxidil promotes maintenance besides promoting hair regrowth.

Those two treatments combined together is quite powerful, and I hope all goes well with them.
